Today F.E.S.S.ed the Ecology Quiz. Then we watched the BrainPop on Global Warming and Ozone. My Popwerpoint is attched below. Students then sat in groups of four and went over their F.E.R.P.s. The only h.w. is to study for the Ecology test tomorrow. Good Luck!

Today I collected the "Oh Deer!" Graph that was h.w. last night and we discussed the analysis questions as a class. I checked in the Digestion and Excretion part of the F.E.R.P. We discussed the Extra Credit Options and watched the Brain Pop on Populations. Then students worked on the activity Goat Island (also attached below). For h.w. you need to complete the next unit in the F.E.R.P. on Plants and study for tomorrow's Ecology Quiz.
Today I collected the 16.2 Section Review Questions that were h.w. last night. Students were ouside and we did the "Oh Deer!" Lab. For h.w. you need to finish the Lab Graph and Analysis Questions and complete the next section in the F.E.R.P. Unit 9 on Digestion and Excretion (#'s 35–53). There will be a quiz on Ecology this Friday 5.25.
Today we completed the Evaluation Form for the Second Semester Project. Then we discussed Operation Cat Drop that you read about yesterday in class and the research that you completed for h.w. We also took notes on Population Growth. My PowerPoint and Handout are attached below. For h.w. you need to read 16.2 and answer the Section Review Questions. As always, these should be typed. Remember, tomorrow we will meet outside by the Field House Entrance 9parking lot D).

Today I checked in the Circulatory and Respiratory Section of the F.E.R.P. that was h.w. last night. Then we discussed The Lorax. We watched the first 3 minutes of the Lion King (key to w.s. attached below) as an Introduction to the Study of Ecology and took notes. My PowerPoint and handout are attached below. For h.w., you need to read Chapter 25.2 and answer the Section Review Questions. As always, these should be typed.
