Today we did a quick Warm–Up to review homologous, analogous, and vestigial structures. My PowerPoint is below. Tonight you need to complete the Evidence for Evolution: Fossils pages in the packet (4–7). The links for tonight's h.w are below. Our Test over Evolution will be this Friday 11.4
Tuesday 11.1
Today we did a quick Warm Up to Review the three different types of Selection that we discussed yesterday in class. My PowerPoint is below. Then we FESSed the quiz on Evolution. Today we did an activity that modeled the process of Natural Selection. Then we watched a couple of short films on Natural Selection and Adaptations. The link to the video clips is below. There is no h.w. tonight!
Tuesday 10.25
Today we did a quick warm up on Natural Selection (attached below). Then we watched a short video clip on the evolution of whales. The link is below. We started with a white swatch, and ended up with black one!
Evolution works the same way. Small changes accumulate over time, eventually leading to the creation of a new species! There is no h.w. over the weekend! Go outside an enjoy the nice weather. It won't last much longer!
