Today's Learning Target:

I can associate the diastolic and systolic blood pressure with the beating of the human heart.

Today's Learning Target:

I can explain the pathway blood travels through the heart, lungs, and body, and can identify where the blood is oxygenated or deoxygenated.I can distinguish between arteries, veins, and capillaries.
Today we viewed an animation showing the pathway blood travels through the heart. I have it linked below for you. Then we watched the video, "The Universe Within." The only h.w. is to study for the quiz tomorrow over the Cardiovascular system. It will cover textbook sections 38.1 and 38.2. Blood and Blood pressure will NOT be on the quiz though.
We will discuss that tomorrow in class after the quiz. Be sure to look at my PowerPoint from last Thursday. Happy studying!

Today I collected the 38.1 Section Review Questions that were h.w. last night and the Extra Credit (optional) Then we drew the blood flow through the heart and lungs! There is no h.w. over the 3 day weekend except to relax and enjoy!
