Today I collected the Digestion and Excretion Review Sheet and we took the test. If you were absent you will need to make that up in the Testing Center when you get back. The only h.w. is to work on the Second Semester Project. The Final paper is due on Friday May 11th and presentations will start on Monday May 14th. You have less than a month left! If you have not started your experiment, you need to do that A.S.A.P! Have a great weekend!
REMINDER: ON TUESDAY we will meet in the Recital Hall (Room 4100 in the glass commons next to the PAC) for Earth Day Presentations!

Today I collected the "Can You Stomach This?" Lab Analysis Questions and Conclusion that were h.w. last night. We did a Warm Up to Review Excretion. Handout and PowerPoint are attached below. Then we went over the Review Sheet. The only h.w. is to study for tomorrow test! Good Luck!

Today I collected the 39.1 Section Review Questions that were h.w. last night. Then we did the Cookie Lab. We all ate cookies and answered questions about its digestion. Yum! There is no h.w. over spring break. You can do the Extra Credit which is to make a working model of the Respiratory System. That is due Monday, April 4th and is worth 5 points. You can also start researching your experiment and gather your materials. Have a wonderful Spring Break!

My PowerPoint and Guided notes are attached below. For h.w. you need to read Section 39.1 and answer the Section Review Questions. These should be typed. Good Luck!

Today we finished taking notes on the Digestive System. Then students worked on the Review w.s. on Digestion. They are all attached below. Whatever you did not finish is h.w. ON FRIDAY – Period 1 meet in Room 6062, periods 2 and 3 meet in Room 7044. Extra Credit option over break. Make a model of the Respiratory System – it must work! Due 4.2 Worth 5 points!

Today members discussed the Experimental Proposals as a group.The final Experimental Proposal is due tomorrow. The w.s. is attahed on the Second Semester Project page. This should be typed. Then we took notes on the Digestive System. My PowerPoint and handout is attached below. For h.w. you need to read chapter 39.2 and answer the Section Review Questions. As always these should be typed.

The w.s. is attahed on the Second Semester Project page. The final proposal for your group is due on Wednesday! You also need to complete the Digestion Online Activity. That is attached below. Today I checked in the Online Digestion Activity that you completed last night for h.w. Then, we watched a short video on food moving the the Digestive tract! Cool Stuff! We also talked about the Second Semester Project. I have made a new page on my wiki where all that handouts the project will be located since we will be working on that over the next two months. For h.w., you need to come up with three, solid, well thought out ideas for your experiment. The final propsal for your group is due next Wednesday! We will discuss it more in class on Monday and Tuesday.
